Organized by the Foundation Ciclo
The first two weekends of July took place the first exhibition of art named Arte Oeste with free entry in the Foundation Ciclo head office Alvear 155, Ramos Mejía. The above mentioned exhibition is part of the program "Foundation Ciclo for the diffusion of the Latin-American culture" that favours and promotes the culture, the education and the traditions of the zone.
In this sense, the aim of this exhibition was to propose to the artists of the zone west of the Great Buenos Aires to be squeezed across their works in an agreeable place and of cultural exchange and also in order that the people enjoy an artistic space of expression.
This first edition was relying on the presence of 21 artists of the zone west of the Great Buenos Aires who exposed 35 authentic works (paintings and sculptures) of topics and different styles.
After an intensive advertising campaign with different means of communications, the Foundation Ciclo did of this first edition a real success. And so, we received the visit of more than 100 persons of the zone.
In addition, in this occasion we were relying on the collaboration of 5 sponsors that are Wal-Mart, McDonald's, Warehouse Old Espaldero, Distributor Rivadavia Queso and Cold cut, Orion Servicios.
At the end of this exhibition 18 prizes were given as a television, some scholarships (courses and careers) of the Foundation Ciclo and vouchers of Mc Donald's.
After the success of the event, the Foundation Ciclo might repeat the operation next year.
